Do not be alarmed! It’s not Christmas 2012 (again) in
Downtown Crossing. Since I am on the topic of stores in Downtown Crossing, I
thought I’d share some overdue pictures of Christmas time in the area with you!
I know this is slightly late but enjoy them anyhow. :)
The Holiday Market had stalls selling handicrafts, jewelry, food and household items.
All hand-made!
Chicken KaBOBS.
You could have a picture perfect moment with Santa too!
Push-cart stalls just outside the train station.
Here's my chicken fingers and fries with honey mustard sauce...and Coke. I regretted getting myself a Coke as it was freezing!
My view as I sipped on Coke and munched on my fried food. Twas good to people-watch for a bit.
Notice the fire engine in the previous picture? It drove away from the road and stopped right next to me!
Christmas Trees for sale...looks exactly like the one our neighbor has planted in his front garden (It's still standing tall even though it's already February.)
Fruit sellers just outside Macy's.
More stalls...
As the sky darkens, streets light up!
Here are some of the window displays just outside of Macy's...
Princess Merida from Brave comes to life!
This guy moves too!
Click here to watch a video I took while soaking in the sights and sounds just outside Macy's. Enjoy!
